AFFIANCO is a documentary series born from a collaboration with AIP (Associazione Immunodeficienze Primitive) and dedicated to those living with primary immunodeficiency: a condition that cannot be resolved, only managed: with constant vigilance, the support of a dedicated medical team, and the resilience of those who learn to build a sustainable balance, day after day.
At the heart of each episode is the relationship between patient and doctor: a bond that goes beyond clinical protocol and becomes companionship, trust, presence. Affianco: alongside.
The series follows men and women who have had to face this diagnosis: the moments of crisis and the moments of strength, the exhaustion and the clarity, the texture of everyday life. Stories that also become a shared resource, a body of lived experience made available to those who are just beginning the same journey.
